Arabescato Orobico

Executive and Timeless

Arabescato Orobico is a unique marble, quarried in the Italian Orobian Alps.

With warm shades, predominantly grey tones, and sinuous veins of white, grey and gold, it has a vibrant and sophisticated appearance.

The term “Arabescato” recalls the decorative patterns of Islamic art, with flowing lines and intricate weaves.

In the past, this marble was used for important palaces and churches, embellishing religious chapels and striking architectural details.

Compact and resistant, it is valued for its shine and durability, which are maintained even after decades of heavy use.

The quarrying site is located in Val Brembana in the province of Bergamo, where the tradition of marble processing dates back centuries.

Our Arabescato Orobico quarries:

Valsecca quarry:
located in Camerata Cornello and started up in 1967, offers materials with elegant grey tones.

Cornalita Quarry:
acquired in 1975, provides blocks with grey and golden veins, appreciated worldwide for their uniqueness.

Arabescato Orobico combines beauty, tradition and functionality, making it a sought-after material in Italy and internationally for exclusive projects.
